About Me

I graduated from the University of Waterloo . I took Computer Science with Software Engineering electives. I have a sister, Susan, and a brother, Kristof. They also went to Waterloo.

I'm Canadian / Hungarian. Our family immigrated to Canada in 1989. Canada is an awesome country. Some of my relatives still live in Hungary. I try to visit them as often as I can. I also have relatives in Florida, Boston, Mexico, Finland, Italy, Germany and Australia. At Waterloo, I helped to start the Hungarian Club.

I went to the St. Augustine high school in Brampton, Ontario. I was good at math, so I decided to take computer science. It was a really good choice. Waterloo has a very good reputation. Is one of the best universities in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Engineering. I was in the COOP (also known as internship) program. It allowed me to practice the skills I learned at school in work environments. I met many of my friends here.

I did work terms at: The Ministry of Health, CIBC, and  Microsoft.  I learned a lot and would highly recommend this program to future students.

I had the fortune to briefly meet Bill Gates. Here is my picture with him (I'm standing beside him with the striped shirt and black jeans). I also saw him on a couple of other occasions.

I met a beautiful girl in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her name is Carolynn. We got married and already have a baby! Carolynn gave birth at Overlake Hospital. This is the same hospital where Bill & Melinda Gates had their first baby.

The Future

On June 28th, I started working at Microsoft . It is a pretty good place to work. I work in the Common Launguage Runtime group on the .Net Runtime.
